This year marks the 68th annual Civitas Lancaster Chicken Barbecue. Civitas Lancaster is the successor to the Lancaster Sertoma Club. This year’s barbecue is scheduled for Saturday, October 16, from 10 AM to 6 PM and is open to the public. During this eight-hour period hundreds of community volunteers will prepare over 15,000 chicken dinners.
