Penn State Hershey Medical Center will be the site for a high-volume COVID testing site soon where they say they will be able to test around 1,000 people a day. The location was picked because it is area with a high population and a region that has experienced a large increase in cases and also testing needs.
The testing site will be run by federal contractors along with some help from medical center staff. Penn State Health is eligible for federal reimbursement for expenses.
