You might remember seeing that Friendly's filed for Chapter 11 Bankruptcy late last year. That was to facilitate the sale with it's new owner, Amici Partners Group. The new owners plan to keep all 130 corporate-owned and franchised locations open. The new ownership will bring back a lot of Friendly's favorites while also focusing on menu innovation like new ice cream flavors.
