Trace Adkins talks National Memorial Day Concert, Upcoming Album

Pop Culture Weekly: Country Superstar Trace Adkins sits down with Kyle McMahon to talk National Memorial Day Concert on PBS, what we can expect from his upcoming album and more!

For the latest episode of Pop Culture Weekly, I spoke with Country superstar Trace Adkins. For two decades, Adkins has released hit after hit on the Country charts. Branching out his talents, he’s been in numerous movies and television shows, including a season long run on Celebrity Apprentice.

Trace will be performing two songs for the 2020 edition of PBS National Memorial Day Concert airing Sunday May 24th at 8pm EST, as well as live on Facebook and YouTube. Hosting the special are Joe Mantegna and Gary Sinise, who have hosted for 19 and 18 years, respectively. Other performers include Grammy / Tony / Emmy winning Cynthia Erivo, Mary McCormack, Cici Winans and more. While it may look a bit different this year, its 31st, the show will go on as always, ready to honor America's heroes.

PBS National Memorial Day Concert 2020 airs live Sunday May 24 at 8pm EST and simultaneously on PBS YouTube & the National Memorial Day Facebook page. It will be available on demand following the broadcast. You can listen to a special Memorial Day episode of Pop Culture Weekly featuring interviews with Joe Mantegna, Mary McCormack, Trace Adkins and Cynthia Erivo.
