There are many reasons that women come to Bethesda Mission. Some are looking to escape abusive relationships, others are looking to deal with their alcohol or drug addictions or mental illnesses. But through all of these individual reasons, women come because they have nowhere else to go. Often, everyone else has already told them, "no."
Your gift today will provide women in need with a way forward. Help them rediscover hope: in the world, in the future, and in themselves.
Some additional facts:
- The Bethesda Women's Mission does not just provide shelter. Our guests receive room and board, clothing, personal care items, 24/7 staffing, counseling, case management services, transportation assistance, etc
- The women's mission is still growing by leaps and bounds, Yet, in 2024, 78 women and 8 children opened their arms to our services for a total of 13,069 bed nights.
- In 2024, providing all of these services to a guest cost approx $102/day.
- Everything we have comes from donations. It is through those donations that we can stand with women and children who have endured violence, health issues, loss, addictions and so much more. We stand in the gap so that we might bring hope, healing and the liberating peace of Jesus Christ.
