High Noon has announced a recall of its Beach Variety 12-packs after discovering that some cans were mislabeled as CELSIUS ASTRO VIBE Energy Drink, Sparkling Blue Razz Edition. These cans, which contain vodka seltzer instead of the non-alcoholic energy drink, could lead to unintentional alcohol consumption. The recall affects two production lots shipped between July 21 and July 23 to distributors in Florida, Michigan, New York, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Virginia, and Wisconsin.

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has issued a warning about the potential for unintentional alcohol ingestion. So far, no illnesses or adverse events have been reported. The recall was initiated after a packaging supplier mistakenly sent empty CELSIUS cans to High Noon, leading to the mix-up.

Consumers are advised to check their CELSIUS ASTRO VIBE cans for the lot codes L CCB 02JL25 2:55 to L CCB 02JL25 3:11 and dispose of any affected products. High Noon encourages customers to contact their Consumer Relations for more information and possible refunds. This recall is conducted with the knowledge of the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau.
