This free, family-friendly event will feature music, games, food, drinks, yard games, a special K-9 demonstration, and a few surprises.
“Once again, we are looking forward to celebrating National Night Out with our friends and neighbors here in Township,” said Chief of Police Duane Fisher. “It is a great way to celebrate your community as well as get to know those who live and work around you. After all the fun, our goal is to develop the camaraderie shared and partnerships built into lasting positive relationships that improve the quality of life here.”
National Night Out started in August of 1984 where the first iteration of the event involved 2.5 million neighbors across 400 communities in 23 states. It has grown over the years into block parties, festivals, parades, cookouts and various other community events where neighbors can connect and connect with their local law enforcement under positive circumstances.
