Manheim Township's Annual Halloween Carnival Happens Saturday October 28th

Manheim Township Parks and Recreation Department is hosting their 7th Annual Halloween Carnival this Saturday, October 28th. The event is open to the public between 1 pm and 4 pm at the Overlook Activities Center (301 Golf Drive, Lancaster).

The event is packed with carnival games and entertainment for youth of all ages. One of the major highlights of the Halloween Carnival is “Trunk or Treat,” hosted by the Manheim Township Police Department. Another big highlight is the costume contest/parade that starts at 1:30 pm at the tennis courts. Awards will be presented to the best costume in each division (4 & under, 5-8, 9-12, and groups).

“The plaza in Stauffer Park is getting a makeover, so we are moving the Halloween Carnival to the Overlook Activities Center and park,” said Manheim Township Recreation Director, Matt Stopa. “We are eager to try out a new location and bring a new vibe to this event. Bring the whole family for games, food, candy, and prizes!”

Admission to the carnival and Trunk-or-Treat is free, while participation in carnival games and activities require tickets. For 10 tickets, the cost is $5. Tickets can be purchased at the event, or in advance online at – https://bit.ly/MT-Halloween-Carnival-Tickets

Parents and guardians do not need to purchase tickets, unless they would like to participate.
