Our pet of the week is 1-year-old Pearl Jam who arrived at the shelter back in July with her kittens in tow.
Now that her kittens have found their homes, shy Pearl Jam is more than ready to find a family of her own. Pearl Jam seems brave and outgoing when you first approach her but loses confidence once her enclosure door opens. This shy girl is looking for a home that will be patient with her while she adjusts to her new surroundings and will allow her to approach her new family at her own pace. Unfortunately it is not known how she is with other animals, but she may do well with calm pets that are respectful of her space.
