(Lancaster Co., PA) -- A school leader from the Ephrata Area District has been named Pennsylvania's Superintendent of the Year. Brian Troop has served in the position for the past ten years. A 10-thousand-dollar scholarship will be presented to the Manheim Central School District in his honor because that's where Troop graduated. He'll now also be in the running for the National Superintendent of the Year.
