Hersheypark No Longer Accepting Cash

In addition to sunscreen, a swimsuit, and sunglasses...you'll also want to make sure you pack a credit card or debit card when you visit Hersheypark this year!

When the park officially opens for the season on April 2nd it will be going cashless. The park will accept all major credit cards and debit cards as well as Apple Pay, Samsung Pay, and Google Pay. Hersheypark officials say this is an effort to create more convenient retail and dining experiences for guests.

If you happen to arrive at the park with just cash, you'll be able to convert that cash to prepaid debit cards at five Cash to Card kiosks located throughout the park.

For playing games, you'll need to buy a separate gaming card which can be loaded via cashless payment at an in-park gaming card kiosk. There aren't any fees for converting cash to a prepaid card at Cash to Card kiosks inside the park.
