>>Heat Advisory Remains In Effect Today
(Harrisburg, PA) -- A heat advisory will remain in effect today as scorching temperatures are expected. Officials say temperatures are forecasted to reach the mid-90s again, and the advisory will last until 7 p.m. However, following the extreme heat, cooler temperatures are forecasted for tomorrow and going into the weekend as the state could see showers and thunderstorms.

Hope Rescue Mission in Reading
The mission recently installed extra air-conditioning units and is opening up extra space to make room for people looking to cool off, especially during the day.
