It certainly would be a perfect world if everybody was open and honest, but we know that there are some truly dishonest people in this world. In fact, a lot more in some states than others. A new report from BestLife is revealing where most of these dishonest people can be found here in the U.S.
They determined their list by looking at data on fraud, identity theft, cyber crime and state integrity policies. Using all four factors, they came up with a Dishonesty Index on a score of one to 100. Not so surprisingly, Nevada (home of Las Vegas, a.k.a. Sin City) tops the list as the most dishonest state. (It lands a Dishonesty Index score of 100, with 905 frauds per 100,000 people, 256 identity thefts and 207 cybercrime victims).
The rest of the top 10 to make the list is below. And yes...PA has just slipped into this bad list at #10 yikes!
