Teddy Swims is officially a dad!
The "Lose Control" singer and his girlfriend Raiche Wright became parents after welcoming their first child together, a son born last week. They announced the exciting news on Friday (June 27) in a joint post on Instagram, revealing he was born June 23 and sharing heartwarming black-and-white photos of the new parents cuddling their newborn. They have not yet revealed their son's name.
"6.23.25 We love you lil man," the caption reads. According to People, Wright reshared the post to her Instagram Stories with a sweet addition, writing, "He's perfect and my heart is exploding! ❤️🌹"
The "Bad Dreams" musician, 32, confirmed his relationship with Wright, 29, in July 2024, and the couple announced they were expecting their first child in January of this year, sharing photos on Instagram of Wright leaning on her partner as he cradled her baby bump while on a beach.
"We can't wait to meet you baby 🤍✨," they captioned the post.
Shortly before their announcement, Teddy shared a heartfelt birthday message to his love, calling her "the divine feminine" and "the most perceptive and caring person I've ever met."
"I'm looking forward to loving you forever and ever," he continued, "and I'm so thankful and lucky to call you mine. I love you."
