>>Governor Tom Wolf Announces New COVID-19 Restrictions

(Harrisburg, PA) -- Governor Tom Wolf is issuing new COVID-19 restrictions. The governor announced yesterday a ban on indoor dining at restaurants, closure of gyms, theaters and casinos and other COVID-19 restrictions. The new orders will take place at midnight this Saturday and are expected to last until at least January 4th. Other restrictions include the suspension of school sports programs and extracurricular activities.

>>New President Judge Elected in Commonwealth Court

(Harrisburg, PA) -- The Commonwealth Court of Pennsylvania is electing a new president judge. Judge P. Kevin Brobson was announced yesterday to take over as the new president judge. Brobson was first elected into the commonwealth court in 2009 and was retained in 2019. He will be succeeding Judge Mary Hannah Leavitt at the beginning of next year.

(Harrisburg, PA) -- After going into quarantine for a positive COVID-19 test, Governor Tom Wolf is saying he received a negative test. The governor announced the negative test yesterday during a news conference. Wolf said Wednesday he was positive for COVID-19 after taking a routine test on Tuesday. He says he will stay in quarantine until he takes another test. Wolf's wife Frances also tested negative yesterday.

>>York County Magisterial District Court Closing

(York County, PA) -- Another York County Magisterial District Court is going to be temporarily closing. The York County Court Administration announced yesterday it will be closing the court located at 1410 Sixth Avenue in York because an employee has tested positive for COVID-19. Officials say the building will be deep-cleaned and sanitized before re-opening. Other magisterial district court offices will be working on time-sensitive issues that might come up while the building is closed.

>>Dauphin County House Fire Investigated

(Dauphin County, PA) -- Dauphin County Police are investigating a house fire. The fire occurred yesterday evening in the 200 block of Ann Street in Middletown Borough. No injuries have been reported and the cause of the fire is still unknown.

>>Hersheypark Says It’s Not Impacted By Wolf’s Expanded COVID-19 Mitigation Efforts

(Derry Twp., PA) -- Officials with Hersheypark say they are not impacted by Governor Tom Wolf’s expanded COVID-19 mitigation efforts. In a tweet Thursday, a Hershey Entertainment official said they will remain open with the park’s safety enhancements in place. Governor Wolf had said that all outdoor gatherings and events would be limited to 50 people.

>>Lewistown Man Accused Of Scamming P-S-U Out Of Over 265-Grand

(Williamsport, PA) -- A man from Lewistown is indicted on charges of stealing over 265-grand from Penn State. Daniel Sickels had worked as a network and systems manager for the university’s office of development and alumni relations when he allegedly bought and sold computer equipment between 2005 and 2017. Sickels would use eBay to get the equipment, according to the allegations, then sell It for his personal benefit.

>>Harrisburg-Area Teen Killed, Infant Badly Hurt In I-81 Crash

(Hazel Twp., PA) -- A 19-year-old woman from the Harrisburg area is dead and a one-year-old is seriously hurt after a crash on Interstate 81 with a tractor trailer yesterday afternoon. It’s believed Amiyah Sherard was headed northbound through Hazel Township when she crossed the median and hit the big rig headed southbound. She was pronounced dead at the scene while the child was taken to Geisinger [ GUY-singer ] Janet Weis Children’s Hospital in Danville with suspected severe injuries. It’s unclear what prompted the crash.

>>No One Hurt In Harrisburg Shooting

(Harrisburg, PA) -- No one is hurt after a shooting in Harrisburg yesterday afternoon. It happened on the 300-block of Forster Street, where police found a vehicle struck by multiple gunshots. It’s believed someone drove through the area and opened fire on the vehicle intentionally before leaving.

>>Millersburg Man To Prison For Inappropriately Touching Intellectually Disabled Girl

(Millersburg, PA) -- A Millersburg man is headed to prison after being convicted of inappropriately touching an intellectually disabled girl. Richard Raker will spend up to six years in prison for the incident May 2016. The 59-year-old was convicted three months ago.
