Manheim Township's Community Egg Hunt Gets A Rescheduled Date

Due to Saturday’s rain/cold forecast, the Manheim Township Recreation Department has decided to reschedule their Community Egg Hunt to Sunday, April 13th, from 1–3 PM at the MT Athletic Complex (2883 Weaver Road, Lancaster, PA 17601). The event is family-friendly, and free for all to attend and enjoy.

The egg hunts will officially start at 1:30 pm. To ensure fairness for all children, designated time slots will be assigned based on age groups. Children ages 2 and under, as well as those aged 3-4, will begin first in separate hunting areas. Following them, the hunts for ages 5-6 and 7-8 will take place.

“$8.00 for a dozen eggs?? At the Manheim Township Community Egg Hunt, we will have 8,000 eggs...for free!” said Manheim Township Recreation Director, Matt Stopa. “We’ll have egg hunts for age groups up to 8 years old, free popcorn, vendors, games, and food for sale. Bring the whole family for this fun-filled afternoon!"

In addition to photo opportunities with the holiday bunny, there will be crafts, egg-themed games, DJ entertainment, and two face painters.

Guests are invited to bring their own baskets to collect eggs.
