As prices for most items are up due to inflation, our favorite Hershey's candies are going to cost us more also. The Hershey Co announced they will be making "list price increases" as a way to drive sales growth. Last year, Hershey had a record year of production as well as double-digit sales and earnings growth.
Steven Voskuil, who is Hershey's Chief Financial Offer says prices on sugar, dairy, packaging materials, and specialty ingredients are all rising which makes Hershey also feel the effect of inflation from a labor standpoint.
Hershey said it already raised some prices last year which has contributed to higher sales at the end of the year.
