Video games aren't exactly cheap. Especially today. Looking back at when a Nintendo NES game would sell for $25. The most expensive video game ever sold … a mint condition original 1985 Super Mario Bros game (selling for $25 back then), up for auction now with a top bid of $372,000!!!
The game was tucked away in a drawer, it still has the original packaging with the original cardboard hang tab (they were discontinued a few years after the game came out and switched to plastic hang tabs).
