House Democrats are expected to unveil the ‘Child Tax Credit Bill’ that would give $3,000 per child for families as part of the proposed $1.9 trillion COVID-19 relief package. The legislation would provide $3,600 per child under the age of 6 and $3,000 per child ages 6-17. If passed by Congress, payments would start going out in July for one year.
