Sure…it’s customary to bring along a gift to a wedding or send something…doesn’t mean you’re required to do so. And one bride’s complaint on social media has grabbed some attention! Her Facebook post was shared on Reddit’s ‘Bridezilla’ section. Her post said: “I’m writing out thank you cards, I’m writing a total of 30 cards, we had over 100 guests. People apparently don’t do wedding gifts.”
She also went on to mention how they spent $1,000 just on beer for their wedding and that their guests took the leftovers at the end of the night without asking them.
Her post has sparked a debate about which is worse: not giving a gift OR complaining about not getting enough gifts.
