We want to give one of our many community heroes a shout! Leanne Kalb works for East Pennsboro School District and runs a food distribution program called ‘PantherPack.’ She started the program 5 years ago and is now making sure that East Pennsboro students who qualify for free and reduced price lunches are getting fed.
PantherPack gets it’s food donations from the Central PA Food Bank, but there are also many people who donate money or food directly to the program. PantherPack will feed more than 300 students. Some major growth from originally helping only 40 students during its first year.
