Kendall and Kylie Jenner have been so busy lately, it’s been hard to keep up with them!

But the two sisters called in to On Air with Ryan Seacrest on Thursday morning to update us on everything from their new book, Rebels: City of Indra, and Kim Kardashian and Kanye West‘s epic wedding to the latest on Kylie’s hair color.

“I was just thinking before I got on this phone call, I want to dye it black, like tomorrow,” says the 16-year-old, who has been rocking teal ombre, with dark roots. “I just keep changing it. I swear, I have an addiction to dying my hair.”

Although she and Kendall have a lot in common, the 18-year-old doesn’t share the same passion for changing her hair. ”For now, I’m just going to keep it Simple Kendall,” she jokes.

But she has been showing her independence in another way: She recently moved into her own apartment! “I’m enjoying it,” says Kendall. “I feel like I’ve been on my own a lot recently, like traveling by myself, so I’ve really gotten the feel for being independent and on my own. So yeah, I’m enjoying it.”

The two sisters are currently promoting their first book, Rebels: City of Indra, which is also about two sisters, Lex and Livia. So what’s the plot?

“It’s a sci-fi dystopian,” explains Kylie. “It’s based in the future, and it’s about the world after this huge catastrophe that drove everyone to live underground. It’s a book about two sisters and how they take on this world and their adventure and their story.”

Of course, Ryan had to ask about Kim and Kanye’s wedding in Florence, Italy last month … and more specifically, what the seating arrangement was like.

“To my right was Kylie and to my left was Khloe,” reveals Kendall. “And across from me was Kim.”

As for Kylie, Kendall was on the left and rumored boyfriend “Jaden [Smith] was on the right with my grandmother, and they were talking away the whole night.”

Kylie and Kendall’s book, Rebels: City of Indra: The Story of Lex and Livia, is available now and can be purchased here! Fans can catch them at their book signing tonight at 7 p.m. at The Grove in Los Angeles.

And as always, the sisters — and the rest of their family — can also be seen on Keeping Up with the Kardashians every Sunday at 9/8c on E!
