(Elizabethtown, PA) -- The proposed cuts of nearly five-million-dollars in the Elizabethtown Area School District are now off the table. The district school board last night rejected the proposed cuts, which included over a million-dollars that would have impacted sports and other departments. The vote came after more than three hours of public comment and a half hour of discussion by board members. Parents who opposed the cuts say they made little sense and would have had a negative impact on the district.
