Introducing... Kyle McMahon's Death, Grief and Other Sh*t We Don't Discuss, coming August 30th from iHeart Podcast Network.

Last year, my entire world was shattered when I lost my Mom Joanne to pancreatic cancer. My entire life as I knew ceased to exist right then and there. The world was no longer safe. Even though we had known for a few weeks that it was coming, the immediate impact it had on me was devastating and tangible. I quickly could feel myself beginning to swirl into a downward spiral, so I knew I wanted to do something to stop that spiral before I was too far gone.

I decided that I wanted to take all of that energy and channel it into something that would not just honor my Mom and not just allow me to seek answers to major questions I had revolving around the whole thing, but to help others in the process. So, I conceived a 13 episode series titled Death, Grief and Other Sh*t We Don't Discuss. Over the last year, I've travelled across the country talking with the world's foremost experts on death, grief, loss, the afterlife, near death experiences and everything in between. I've woven my Mom's cancer journey into these conversations and created a whole slew of resources to help others that might be on this journey...or will be one day.

Death, Grief and Other Sh*t We Don't Discuss is the hardest and most personal project I've ever worked on. I toiled over whether this was the right thing to do. I stayed up far too many nights well into the morning going back and forth over whether I made the right decision. But each time, I could feel my Mom pushing me through it. And as always, she was right. The conversations I had over 13 episodes are powerful, poignant and are helping me to get through. And I truly believe that they can help you, too.
