August Blood Drive Will Honor Baby Who Died

>>August Blood Drive Will Honor Baby Who Died

(Lancaster, PA) -- The parents of a baby boy who lived only 111 days are trying to honor his memory with a blood drive. Adam Mansfield weighed just over a pound and a half when he was born, so small he was considered a micro-preemie. His parents hope 65 units of blood can be collected during the drive to honor the eight blood transfusions that helped him survive as long as he did. The Red Cross blood will take place Friday, August 5th at the Eden Resort and Suites in Lancaster.
