If you were itching for new music from Selena Gomez and Niall Horan, you'll be happy to know that the two pop stars will appear on Julia Michaels' new EP, Inner Monologue Part I, which is set to drop this Friday (January 25).
In an Instagram post, the famed songwriter revealed that her new five-song collection will open with "Anxiety" a collab with Gomez," and close with "What A Time," featuring Horan. "Couldnât be more nervous if I tried. But hereâs a piece of my mind and my heart. itâs yours next week," she captioned the artwork of the EP, which sees her sitting on the floor surrounding by boxes and flowers. Among the other tracks to appear on the set include "Into You," "Happy," "Deep" and "Apple."
Even though Gomez has yet to comment on "Anxiety," the former One Direction bandmate did sound off on his contribution to the project via Twitter. "So excited about this!" he wrote. "I'm singing on @juliamichaels album and Iâm over the moon. Julia is one of my very very good friends and âwhat a timeâ is absolutely stunning. Iâm very proud to be part of this and canât wait for you guys to hear it."
Just last week, Gomez took another step to entering the public spotlight with a short but sweet Instagram post. "Lots to look forward to in 2019. I canât wait to share the projects Iâve been working on with you. The first one is here," she wrote in reference to her new collaboration with Puma. It seems like her upcoming team-up with Michaels will be next in line.
